We are currently seeking multiple Welders for our beautiful Charlevoix, MI location.

This position is non-exempt (hourly).

Full-time

Wages commensurate with experience.

IN THIS POSITION, YOU WILL:

• Weld Military Components using MIL-STD Specifications for Armor Grade Steel
• Use calipers, height gauges, tape measure, and weld gauges to measure parts to verify conformance to specifications.
• Produce work that conforms to customer specifications and customer standard.
• Refers to blueprints, technical drawings, and other written directions.
• Work with inches, metric, fractions, and 3 decimal places.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand.
• The employee frequently is required to use hand and fingers in handling, grasping, or feeling objects, tools, or controls or an extended period of time.
• The employee must be able to occasionally work above shoulder height and frequently have neck flexion and extension.
• The employee must occasionally lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.

ADDITIONALLY, THE IDEAL CANDIDATE IS REQUIRED TO HAVE:

• Welding experience, MIL-STD Certifications for Armor Grade Steel
• An understanding of inches, metrics, fractions, and decimal places
• A High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3 years minimum experience or training
