We are currently seeking a Production Planner / Scheduler for our Charlevoix, MI location with Syteline ERP system REQUIRED

IN THIS POSITION, YOU WILL:

• Read and interpreting customer part prints for Bill of Material requirements
• Create and maintain Item Masters for each part
• Create and maintain Bill of Materials for each assembly
• Review demand using Syteline ERP System (experience REQUIRED) and ensure manufactured and purchased components are available to support the internal build cycle
• Create manufacturing jobs to support demand
• Issue plate and components to the jobs
• Manage internal progress using production requirements and real-time data collection
• Manage cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
• Assist supplier quality with validation of new suppliers
• Work with engineering/launch on timelines for new product launch
• Work with quality department to measure the “cost of poor quality” relating to purchased parts and outside processes
• Support and promote safe practices and environmental commitments in alignment with company commitments, policies and compliance requirements.
• Other duties as assigned

ADDITIONALLY, THE IDEAL CANDIDATE IS REQUIRED TO HAVE:

• REQUIRED: 3 years minimum with Syteline ERP system
• Associate’s Degree preferred
• A Valid Driver’s License
• Must be insurable with GTED insurance carrier.
