We are currently seeking a Fabricator for our Charlevoix, MI location.

1st Shift: M-Th 6:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Overtime Fri/Sat 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
2nd Shift: M-Th 4:15 p.m. - 2:45 a.m. Overtime Fri/Sat 4:15 p.m. - 12:45 a.m.

This position is non-exempt (hourly) with a 2nd shift per diem rate for 2nd shift worked hours.

Full-time

$15 -$18 per hour, based upon experience

IN THIS POSITION, YOU WILL:

• Operate, load and unload material and parts, setting parameters, and inspection of quality parts for conformance to requirements.
• Operate drill presses, power saws, grinders, positioners and a variety of welding equipment and hand tools.
• Cuts, bends, and welds steel per print requirements
• May perform minor operations on metal lathes and milling machines if required

ADDITIONALLY, THE IDEAL CANDIDATE IS REQUIRED TO HAVE:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of one-year prior experience in fabrication operations
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Forklift license and overhead crane permits (company trained)
• Good organizational skills and detail oriented
• Good communication skills
