Key Responsibilities:
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work orders, and fabrication specifications.
• Measure, mark, cut, bend, roll, fit, grind, and assemble metal materials and components to print specifications.
• Operate fabrication equipment including CNC and manual machinery, drill presses, power saws, grinders, ironworkers, shears, positioners, press brakes, rollers, and other metalworking equipment.
• Set up machines, load and unload materials and parts, adjust operating parameters, and monitor production processes to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Operate a 250-ton brake press and metal rolling equipment to form steel components according to specifications.
• Perform cutting, bending, fitting, and welding operations to fabricate steel components and assemblies.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and a variety of welding equipment safely and effectively.
• Perform minor operations on metal lathes and milling machines as required.
• Inspect first-piece and in-process parts using measuring equipment to verify conformance to print dimensions, tolerances, and quality standards.
• Safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, hoists, and other material handling equipment as required.
• Identify and report material defects, equipment malfunctions, and quality concerns.
• Maintain accurate production and quality documentation as required.
• Perform routine equipment cleaning and basic preventive maintenance checks.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Follow all company policies, quality procedures, and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with supervisors and production personnel to support workflow, scheduling, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications / Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of metal fabrication & press brake experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience operating fabrication and material handling equipment preferred.
• Basic welding and fitting knowledge preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments accurately.
• Forklift and overhead crane experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Ability to frequently bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, and reach.
• Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials up to 50 pounds independently and heavier items with assistance or lifting equipment.
• Ability to perform repetitive hand, wrist, and arm movements while operating grinding and polishing equipment.
• Ability to safely operate hand-held power tools and industrial grinding machinery.
• Ability to work in confined spaces or awkward positions as required.
• Manual dexterity sufficient to handle tools, machine controls, and measuring devices.
• Visual ability to inspect finished surfaces, read measurements, and identify defects.
• Ability to tolerate exposure to metal dust, sparks, heat, noise, and vibration.
• Ability to wear required PPE for extended periods.
• Ability to maintain regular and reliable attendance and work overtime as needed.
Work Environment:
• Manufacturing and production environment with exposure to noise, dust, sparks, metal particles, fumes, vibration, and temperature fluctuations.
• Regular exposure to moving machinery, steel materials, and industrial equipment.
• Required use of personal protective equipment including safety glasses, face shields, gloves, hearing protection, steel-toe boots, respirators, and other required PPE.
